The mission of Frog Alley Community Garden (FACG) is encouraging the community to grow sustainable food through Organic gardening. We are located at 250 SW 4th Avenue in Delray Beach (adjacent to St. Matthew’s parish hall).
Since the fall of 2013, FACG members and volunteers, with contributions from garden centers and other local businesses, have built nearly 2 dozen raised garden beds, and planted a variety of vegetables and native plants and saplings. Surrounded by mango trees, with multiple pergolas and brick pathways, Frog Alley is one of the most beautiful community gardens in Palm Beach County.
Garden plots range from 16 to 64 square feet and are available for rent on a first-come, first-serve basis. Prices are based on plot size and range from $25 to $125 per season. Members are responsible for maintaining their own gardens, and for contributing to the maintenance of the common areas. The land for the garden has been made available by the generosity of property owner Iris Jones.
